Quest: Psionics

Quest: Classic Fantasy is known for bringing a wonderous and magical world to life -- but magic is not the only source of power. With Quest: Psionics you can bring the powers of the mind to Quest: Classic Fantasy, Quest: Cosmic Fantasy, and Quest: Science Fiction. 

Inspired by the psionic abilities of Classic Traveller, this 11-page supplement introduces five new Learning Paths that can be studied by any character (with the Guide's permission, of course):

• Bioenhancement
• Telepathy
• Clairvoyance
• Telekinesis
• Teleportation

These Learning Paths are designed to be compatible with any game setting.

It also introduces a new health-like measure,  Psionic Strength Points (PSP). When a character first discovers their psionic potential, the number of PSP the character possesses is determined. PSP is a permanent measure of the character's psionic potential and can never be changed -- but it can be temporarily modified with dangerous psi-drugs. All psionic abilities are powered by PSP rather than Adventure Points, but PSP can be replenished along with HP when resting and regrouping.

Quest: Psionics provides rules for character creation for both psionic specialists and for any character who has recently discovered their psionic talent. In many settings, psionic abilities must be hidden from the government and the general public. Hidden psionic masters (not all of which are legitimate) may provide the secret training psionic characters need to learn new abilities -- if these masters can be found!
